Fruitport went on the road and defeated West Catholic by a score of 2-0 In OK Blue action on Wednesday night. Brady Brown found the net in the first half to push the Trojans in front heading into halftime. Ryder Merkins collected his own rebound and extended the Trojans lead to 2-0. Logan Werschem recorded the shutout in net for the Trojans and recorded four saves. Fruitport improves to 9-2-2 on the season and 4-2-1 in OK Blue Conference play. Coach Hazekamp credited Jorge Burgos Yack, Jaxon Stone, and Braylon Marshall with solid play on the night. Fruitport travels to North Muskegon for a non conference tilt on Saturday.
