The Trojans jumped out to an early lead and held on to a 12 to 6 lead at the 1st quarter break. Foul trouble hurt Fruitport in the 2 quarter and Kenowa Hills cut into the lead. At half the Trojan led 16 to 14. A great defensive team effort in the 3rd quarter saw Fruitport up it lead to 26 to 16, holding Kenowa Hills to just 2 point in the quarter. The game ended with the Trojans winning 33 to 22. Ellie Fisher had another big game with 13 points and 15 rebounds, Andi Quasebarth added 9 points, Sydney Bol added 5 points and 4 steals, Kennah Vermerris added 3 points and 5 rebounds and Willo Staal added 3 points. Fruitports next game is home Tuesday night vs Grand Rapids Union. The Trojans are 5 - 2 for the season and 1 - 0 in conference play.
