Fruitport lost to host Unity Christian 2-1 in a highly contested OK Blue game. After a scoreless first half, the Crusaders found the scoreboard twice in the last 10 minutes to take a 2-0. Henry Swartz scored with 4 minutes to cut the lead in half. The Trojans pushed and had several chances down the stretch but couldn't get the equalizer. Coach Hazekamp recognized Henry Swartz, Jackson Smith Upson, Blake Hronek and Carter Golden with solid defensive efforts while highlighting Cody Mayette, Ryan Laus and Sean Gieske in the attacking area.
Justin Laus had 10 saves for the Trojans who fall to 5-4-3 on the season.
