Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Hamilton Community Schools
Fruitport defeated visiting Hamilton 3-0 in the opening round of OK Blue Conference Tournament play. After a scoreless first half the Trojans came alive in the second half as Eli Aldridge found the net off a Ryan Laus assist. Ten minutes later, after solid build up, Jackson Rebone found the net off a Jayce Thornton cross. Zach Schaefer added an insurance goal late in the second half.
Justin Laus had two saves for the Trojans who recorded his ninth shutout of the season in net for the Trojans. Fruitport outshot the Hawkeyes 19-2 on the night.
Fruitport improves to 12-0-3 on the season and will host Spring Lake on Wednesday.
