Fruitport defeated visiting Montague by a score of 8-0 on Thursday night in nonconference action. Taylen Acocks and Brady Brown each scored two goals on the night while Ryan Mitchell, Issac Vandermolen, Grade Anspach, and Jorge Burgos Yack each added goals. Elijah Aldridge, Anspach and Burgos-Yack were credited with assists on the night.
Logan Werschem collected the shutout on the night recording three saves for the Trojans who improve to 12-2-2 on the season. Fruitport will host Hamilton at home on Monday as they begin the OK Blue Conference Tournament.
