Fruitport Trojans Varsity got things started in the first inning. Luke Mitchell hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run. Grand Haven pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. Mitchell was on the mound for Fruitport Trojans Varsity. He went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out one and walking one. Austin Wilson, Jerod Arvey, Jayme Woodring, and Landen Fielstra each entered the game as relief, throwing two innings, two innings, one and one-third innings, and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Nick Kleinhecksel, Luke Hronek, and Jakob Carlisle all had one hit to lead Fruitport Trojans Varsity.
