Fruitport Sweeps Allendale in the OK conference class. 6-4 and 7-6

In Game 1 Fruitport won 6-4. Fruitport jumped out early 5-1 after 2 innings with some hot hitting off the bat of Cody Nash and held on for a 6-4 win.  Cody Matuz started on the mound and went 4 innings striking out 4 giving up 4 unearned runs.  Gavin Reames came on in relief to secure the win going 3 innings and striking out 4.  Leading hitters for Fruitport were Nash with 3 hits including a triple and 3 RBI's, Both Matuz and Reames had 2 hits as well.

In Game 2 Austin Wilson started on the mound going 4 1/3 innings striking out 2 and giving up 2 earned runs.  Brady Weck came on in relief to secure the win going 2 and 2/3 innings of work striking out 1 and giving up 1 earned run.  Matuz and Nash both had 2 hits in the win.  Cole Foy had a big day at the plate in both games reaching base with 3 hit by pitches.
