Trojans snagged a late lead and defeated Montague Wildcats Varsity 10-9 on Tuesday.  The game was tied at eight with Montague Wildcats Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when Skeets Dusenberry grounded out, scoring one run.

Bats blistered as Trojans collected ten hits and Montague Wildcats Varsity tallied ten in the high-scoring game.

Montague Wildcats Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Nick Moss singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

After Montague Wildcats Varsity scored two runs in the top of the fourth, Trojans answered with two of their own.  Montague Wildcats Varsity scored when Ryver Jarka singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.  Trojans then answered when an error scored one run for Trojans.

Trojans earned the victory on a walk off steal of home in the 9th inning.

Trojans put up three runs in the fifth inning.  The offensive firepower by Trojans was led by Christian Kennedy, Cody Nash, and Tommie anderson, all driving in runs in the inning.

Braxton Ward was credited with the victory for Trojans. Ward allowed one hit and zero runs over one and one-third innings, walking zero.  Kennedy and anderson entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Bryton Belinger took the loss for Montague Wildcats Varsity. The righthander surrendered one run on two hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.

Ryan Bosch started the game for Trojans. Bosch lasted two innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out six Moss started the game for Montague Wildcats Varsity. The pitcher surrendered five runs on five hits over three innings, striking out three

Brady French led Trojans with three hits in five at bats.

“This was a great team win with many players contributing in different areas. We are most pleased about how our kids never gave up when we were down. We had some tough errors but we battled and over came a lot and just stayed in the moment and not let the last play beat us. “
