Two Fruitport Trojans Pitchers Team Up In Shutout Victory Against Ludington Varsity Orioles

Fruitport Trojans defeated Ludington Varsity Orioles 15-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Tommie anderson struck out Joe Benz to finish off the game.

Fruitport Trojans secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the third inning.  Christian Kennedy, Cody Nash, Daiton Campbell, Jax Flynn, Brady French, and  Kennedy each drove in runs during the inning.

Fruitport Trojans got things moving in the first inning.  Ryan Bosch singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Fruitport Trojans notched nine runs in the third inning.  Fruitport Trojans big bats were led by Kennedy, Nash, Campbell, Flynn, French, and  Kennedy, who each had RBIs in the inning..

Trevor Rusnak got the win for Fruitport Trojans. The pitcher went three innings, allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out seven.  anderson threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Nathan Dillehay took the loss for Ludington Varsity Orioles. The hurler lasted two innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out two.

Fruitport Trojans racked up 12 hits on the day.  Braxton Ward, Flynn, and Bosch each collected multiple hits for Fruitport Trojans.  Bosch, Flynn, and Ward each collected two hits to lead Fruitport Trojans.  Fruitport Trojans didn't commit a single error in the field.
