Fruitport Went on the road for a Non Conference double header against the Sparta Spartans and came away with a split. In game one the Trojans were victorious 5 to 0. Hudson Hazekamp earned the victory on the mound going 7 inning with 1 walk, 1 strikeout and 3 hits. Hazekamp kept the Spartans off balance and kept them off the board. The defense for the Trojans played phenomenal and turned multiple double plays to help Hazekamp on the mound. The Trojans were led offensively by Ryan Bosch with 2hits, Jax Flynn with 2 hits, Braxton Ward with 2 doubles and Brady French with 3 hits.
Game two seen Fruitport come out on the wrong side of the score. Losing 15-8. Leading hitters in the night cap were Christian Kennedy with 2 hits, Trevor Rusnak with 2 hits and 2 Rbi's, and Avery Lambers with 2 hits and 3 Rbi's.
