Fruitport fell in its season open to Montague on the road, 67-58. Montague played better basketball tonight, earning the win by taking advantage of Trojan mistakes and defensive lapses throughout the game. Leading the Trojans in scoring was Gavin Fisher with 19 pts. Luke Mitchell had 14, Marcelo Conklin had 9, and Logan Manciu scored 8 pts.
Fruitport moves on and looks to bounce back as they host Spring Lake Friday night, December 14. Game time is 7:30 PM.
