Fruitport defeated Mona Shores on Friday night in front of a raucous home crowd, 56-41. Leading in scoring for the Trojans was Gavin Fisher with 27 points. Luke Mitchell added 11 and Rico Jones scored 8. Ethan Flores scored 7 and Marcelo Conklin added 3.
Fisher also grabbed 8 rebounds and had 4 blocks. Rico Jones added 6 boards and took 2 charges. Luke Mitchell added 5 rebounds. Ethan Flores had 4 steals and Marcelo Conklin grabbed 3 steals. Conklin also added 4 assists.
The Trojans improved to 9-9 on the season and finished with a conference mark of 5-7. Up next for the Trojans is Comstock Park at home on Tuesday, March 3. Then on Thursday March 5th, the Trojans wrap up the regular season as they host Whitehall. The Whitehall game will be Senior Night for the 7 Trojan seniors this year.
