The Trojans won their home opener on Tuesday night against Muskegon Catholic by a score of 53-42. Fruitport led 10-4 after the 1st and 18-13 at the half. A big 3rd quarter blew the game open for Fruitport, as they led 46-24 after 3. 

Leading the way for the Trojans was junior guard, Bode Anspach. Anspach scored 16 points, most of which was scored after forcing turnovers. Anspach recorded 11 steals and was a pest on defense all night long. He also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists, while only recording 1 turnover. Paschal Jolman also filled up the stat sheet, scoring 12 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and added 4 steals himself to go along with 3 assists. Andrew Spyke added 10 points and 6 rebounds. Collin Jolman and Ryan Laus added 6 points a piece. Payton Flores scored 2, and Cade Powell added 1 point. 

Up next for the Trojans is Belding at home on Friday night. Tip off is 7:30 PM at Fruitport High School. Fruitport then travels to Greenville next Tuesday, December 21st, before being off until the new year.
