The Fruitport Trojans cruised to a victory over Belding at home on Friday night by a score of 75-44. The Trojans got off to a fast start, leading 22-7 after the first quarter and didn't really look back. Fruitport led 38-17 at the half and 59-22 after three quarters.
Leading the way for Fruitport was junior guard Bode Anspach, who led the team with an efficient scoring effort, pumping in 23 points to go along with 7 assists and 5 steals. Andrew Spyke added 18 points and 12 rebounds. Paschal Jolman scored 13 points and added 6 assists. Ryan Laus scored 10 points and Camden Farrell scored 7. Collin Jolman and Cade Powell each added two points.
Up next, Fruitport travels to face Greenvile on Tuesday, December 21st.
