Fruitport fell to Unity Christian Tuesday night by a score of 75-40. The Trojans hung tough for a quarter and a half, down 17-13 after 1. But a late 2nd quarter run by the Crusaders stretch the halftime lead to 40-23. The run continued in the third quarter as Unity put the game out of reach.
Playing well for the Trojans was junior Bode Anspach, who scored 17 points and had 4 assists, hitting 5 three pointers in the game. Andrew Spyke added 8 points and 5 boards. Paschal Jolman scored 6, Collin Jolman had 3. Ryan Laus, Ryan Mitchell, and Kyle Burke each added 2.
Fruitport falls to 4-3 and 0-2 in the OK Blue. Up next is Coopersville at home on Friday, January 14 at 6:00 PM
