The Trojans fell to Coopersville on the road in a hard-fought contest, 58-48. Fruitport led 14-8 after 1, and the game was tied 21-21 at the half. 4 three point baskets in the third helped Coopersville to a 41-37 lead after three quarters. Coopersville hit free throws down the stretch and pulled away to a 10 pt victory.
Leading for Fruitport was Bode Anspach with 22 points. Ryan Laus scored 8, Gavin Reames and Paschal Jolman each scored 6. Andrew Spyke and Collin Jolman each added 3.
Fruitport falls to 5-10 on the year. Up next for the Trojans is Holland Christian at home on Tuesday, February 15th at 7:00 pm.
