The Trojans defeated Hamilton on Friday night at home by a score of 73-55. Fruitport led pretty much the whole way. leading 15-11 after 1, 34-26 at the half, and 49-43 after the 3rd. The Hawkeyes cut it to 3 points in the 4th quarter, but Fruitport responded well, immediately growing the lead back to double digits. The Trojans closed out the game by outscoring Hamilton 23-12 in the final frame. 

Leading for the Trojans was junior Paschal Jolman, who scored 21 points. Jolman attacked the basket all night and finished well around the rim. He also shot well from the line, going 5-6 at the stripe. Junior Bode Anspach added 19 points for Fruitport, including three 3 pointers. Anspach's defense and active hands led to a lot of easy baskets on the other end. Junior big man Andrew Spyke scored 14 points , and Senior guard Gavin Reames added 10, including 2 big 3's in the second half. Junior Collin Jolman scored 7 points and Senior Ryan Laus added 1 point. 

Up next for the Trojans is West Catholic at home on Tuesday, February 22nd. Fruitport then finishes their OK Blue season at Allendale next Friday. Fruitport improves to 6-11 on the season and 2-10 in the OK Blue.
