Fruitport won Friday night at home against Western Michigan Christian 73-49. The score was 27-19 at the half, then the Trojans put the game away early in the second half, winning the 3rd quarter 35-14.
Leading the Trojans was Bode Anspach, who scored a career-high 32 pts. Anspach hit 8 three pointers on the game. He added 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Andrew Spyke scored 11, Paschal Jolman added 10 pts, Ryan Bosch and DayDay WIlliams added 6 pts. each. Collin Jolman scored 4, Kyle Burke and Nate Carlisle each scored 2 pts.
Fruitport improves to 2-2 on the season. Up next for the Trojans is Fremont, next Thursday night, December 22 at home.
