Fruitport tied Kenowa Hills 1-1 to finish out OK Black play on Thursday night. The Knights got on the board midway through the second half scoring off a set piece.  The Trojans responded immediately off the kick off as Kaleb Krueger found a streaking Cam Schultz to even the game back at 1-1.  The Trojans pressed but were unable to find the net.  Fruitport outshot Kenowa Hills 23-1in the game.  

Coach Hazekamp thought the result didn't match the effort noting, "I didn't think we played poorly tonight.  We did a lot of really good things against a solid Kenowa team but didn't get the result.  They capitalized on one opportunity and we lacked some composure in the attacking third and just couldn't push one across.  I thought our back line played really well.  We limited a good offensive team to one shot tonight.   In the big picture it doesn't change our approach at all for Monday.  We need to clean up some details and prepare for a good Spring Lake team.  We'll be ready."

The Trojans travel to Spring Lake on Monday as they face the Lakers in the opening round of districts.
