Fruitport defeated visiting Coopersville by a score of 7-0. Fruitport got on the board early in the first half as Sean Gieske found the back of the net three times. In the second half, the Trojans came out fast and scored three goals in the first five minutes. Jackson Rebone, Braylon Marshall, Bode Anspach, and Taylen Acocks all added goals in the second half. Jorge Burgos-Yack, Jackson Smith-Upson, Sean Gieske, Jackson Rebone, Isaac Vandermolen, and Bode Anspach all had assists for the Trojans.
Justin Laus posted the shutout for the Trojans recording three saves. Fruitport has a short turnaround as they face North Muskegon on Thursday.
