Fruitport went on the road and defeated Oakridge by a score of 7-0 on Thursday night. Fruitport received two goals a piece from Sean Gieske and Jackson Rebone while Taylen Acocks, Isaac Vandermolen, and Brady Brown added goals. Bode Anspach paced the Trojans with two assists while Jackson Smith Upson, Jorge Burgos-Yack, and Acocks added assists.
Justin Laus and Logan Werschem combined for the shutout in net with each recording a save. Fruitport returns to action on Monday as they host Allendale in the opening round of OK Blue Conference Tournament.
