Fruitport defeated Allendale 3-1 to open OK Conference Tournament play on Monday night.  The Trojans got on the board early as Jackson Rebone found Bode Anspach who headed home a corner kick to take the lead minutes into the game.  The Trojans struck again with seconds left in the half as Anspach found Sean Gieske who slotted home a finish to take a 2-0 lead heading into the half.  Five minutes into the second half, Jorge Burgos Yack found Anspach who hammered home a ball from outside the box to extend the lead to 3-0.  Allendale scored to cut the Trojan lead but were unable to find the back of the net the remainder of the half.  

Justin Laus recorded 10 saves for the Trojans who move to 9-6-2 on the season and advance to play Unity Christian on Wednesday night.  Coach Hazekamp credited Brady Brown, Noah Fehler, Jackson Smith-Upson and Braylon Marshall with great games.
