Fruitport defeated visiting Hamilton 5-0 in the opening round of the OK Blue Conference Tournament on Monday night.  Brady Brown started the scoring midway through the first half as he headed home a Braylon Marshall corner kick to take a 1-0 lead.  The Trojans struck again minutes later as Ryder Merkins slotted a beautiful ball across the box and Jorge Burgos Yack tucked it away to increase the lead to 2-0 heading into the half.  In the second half the Trojans continued to build on their lead as Burgos Yack scored off an Isaiah Packard assist early in the second half.  Isaac Vandermolen got in on the scoring as he blasted a strike off a well placed Ryan Mitchell assist.  Burgos Yack closed out the scoring as he converted a Jaxon Stone through ball. 

Logan Werschem recorded four saves and his seventh consecutive shutout. Fruitport improves to 13-2-2 on the season and will face Unity Christian in the next round of the OK Blue Tournament,
