Fruitport defeated Spring Lake 3-0 in district semifinal action on Thursday night.  The Trojans jumped out to a quick lead as Braylon Marshall found Brady Brown to push the Trojans in front three minutes into the game.  Fruirport struck later in the half as Jorge Burgos Yack found Isaac Vandermolen to extend the lead to 2-0.  Minutes later, Burgos Yack found Taylen Acocks to take a 3-0 lead heading into the half,  The Trojans held tight in the second half. 

Logan Werschem recorded 4 saves in net and collected his 11th consecutive shutout.  Fruitport improves to 16-2-3 on the year and will face Grand Rapids Northview in the final.  

Coach Hazekamp was proud of his team noting, "I'm just really proud of the level of focus, attention to detail and execution tonight.  Our guys stuck to the plan and played extremely hard all night. A complete team effort as our guys on the field and off were locked in all night."
