Fruitport went on the road and defeated host Comstock Park by a score of 3-0 in a OK Silver tilt on Thursday night. The Trojans got on the board midway through the first half as Jyles Smith found Davis Johnson who scored to push the Trojans in front 1-0. Although the Trojans had many opportunities in the first half they could not convert. In the second half Johnson struck again as Satchel Norwood found Johnson who scored to take a 2-0 lead. Jyles Smith scored off a Grade Anspach assist to round out the scoring.
Logan Werschem recorded one save and the shutout in net for the Trojans who improve to 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in the OK Silver. Fruitport returns to action Saturday as they square off against Reeths Puffer.
