Fruitport went on the road and defeated Kelloggsville by a score of 5-0 on Tuesday night. The Trojans started fast as Grade Anspach found Jorge Burgos Yack to put the Trojans in front 1-0. Minutes later, Anspach connected with Ryder Merkins who scored to push the lead to 2-0. The Trojans tacked on three goals in the second half as Burgos Yack scored twice and Jyles Smith scored. Merkins and Owen Tromp added assists in the second half.
Logan Werschem and Mason Kettel combined for the shutout in net. Fruitport improves to 10-0 on the season and 5-0 in the OK Silver. Fruitport hosts Calvin Christian on Thursday in a OK Silver contest.
