HOLLAND CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The Fruitport JV boys soccer team beat Holland Christian in their season opener 4-3 at home tonight in OK Blue action. Scoring for the Trojans was Noah Fehler with two goals, Noah Packard and Brady Brown had the go ahead goal to put Fruitport up by one with 50 seconds remaining in the game. Brady Brown and Eli Aldridge also recorded assists on the night. Darren Deewaard, Jaxon Stone, Braylon Marshall and Caleb Slager all played quality minutes to help the Trojans find the late victory. The varsity team is back in action tomorrow again North Muskegon while the JV team will play Allendale on Monday.
