COOPERSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 36
The Trojans got their first OK Blue win 41 to 36 over the Broncos of Coopersville in overtime.
Coopersville held a 19 to 15 lead at half but Fruitport came out hot in the 3 Q and took the lead 31 to 22 to end the quarter.
The Broncos then came back strong to tie the game 34 all after 4 quarters. The Trojans then out scored Coopersville 7 to 2 in the extra session to pull out the win.
Willo Staal led Fruitport with 18 points and 5 rebounds, Sabi Meil added 9 points and 5 rebounds and Auebre Johnson added another 5 points. Anna Bol and Kylie
Rudolph played great defense all night with Bol pulling down 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 blocks.
