BELDING HIGH SCHOOL: 53
The Trojan played one of their best quarters of defense vs the Black Knights of Belding holding them to 9 points but could only muster 2 free throws themselves and trailed 9 to 2 at the end of 1 quarter. Belding opened up a 25 to 11 lead at half as Fruitport could not stop sophomore Brooke Simpson who put up 11 herself. The second half was a copy of the first and Belding ran away with a 53 to 17 win. The Trojans were led by Kayla Manciu with 9 rebounds, Anna Bol 8 rebounds, Jorja Blackmer with 7 rebounds, Auebre Johnson with 6 rebounds/4 points and Sadie Norwood 5 points.
