Whitehall defeated Fruitport by a score of 3-2 on Thursday night in non conference action. The Vikings got on the board early as they converted a penalty kick to take a 1-0 lead. Early in the second they extended their lead to 2-0 before the Trojans mounted a comeback. Sarah Zielinski found the net off an Ellie Fisher assist to cut the lead to 1-0. Fisher joined the scoring as Kennan Vermerris assisted to tie the game at 2-2. The Vikings found the go ahead goal with 7 minutes left and were able to hold on.

Madalyn Fett was strong in net for the Trojans notching 12 saves.
