Fruitport battled to a 1-1 tie with host West Catholic on Wednesday night. West Catholic got on the scoreboard in the first half off a well placed corner kick. The Trojans battled back quickly to to tie the game thanks to a goal from mallory Smith and assisted by Kayla Kolberg.
Riley Kettel had twelve saves in net for the Trojans who move to 3-2-1 on the season.
Fruitport is away Saturday at West Michigan Christian as they participate in the North-South Challenge.
