Girls Varsity Tennis at County Tournament

For the first time in Fruitport tennis history both top singles flights were won by lady trojans at the county tournament. First singles Alison Blakeman defeated 5th seed Mona Shores, 1st seed North Muskegon and 2nd seed Whitehall to gain the county title at one singles. Second singles Hope Busscher defeated Muskegon Catholic, 1st seed North Muskegon, and 2nd seed Reeths Puffer on her way to the title at second singles. The team was playing the tournament shorthanded due to tracing but played well throughout the day.
