SPRING LAKE HIGH SCHOOL: 5
Fruitport tennis played till the end, however, Spring Lake squeezed out a victory with the last two flights at 1 doubles and 2 doubles. Lynnea Olson and Lucia Sampedro at 1D went 3 sets and Jennah Wierengo and Auebre Johnson 2D went to a tie-breaker in a 3rd set but both came up short. Getting a win for Fruitport was 1S Hope Busscher, 2S Grace Sweet and 3S Rachel Hines in straight sets.
Fruitport next plays in their own tournament, all day Saturday.
