Trojan Bowling completed a long weekend of Regional Bowling at Northway Lanes today.  Friday was the TEAM portion of regionals.  The Girls finished in 11 th place overall on Fiiday.  Jessica Plichta led the way with a 483 series.  Kennadi Dykstra 158 Grace Falkowski 125, Charlee Vollmer 127, Kalli Lockhart 101, Olivia Langlois 104. 

     The boys team started slow in the Baker games but recovered well in the regular games to be seeded second overall going into the last game.  The boys bowled  873 in game three but were passed by Coopersville who scored over 1000 their last game to knock the Trojans to Fourth place just missing qualifying for stated by one position.  The boys were led by Jarod Arvey who had his best series of the year with a high game of 252 with a series of 637, Connor Hines 192, Logan Tietsma, 201, Eli Covert 190, Jon Wildey 168, Evan Simonis 168, and Cameron Weaver 174.

     Today the teams participated in Singles.  The highlight of the day was SOPH Jessica Plichta.  Jessica took home OVERALL first place honors with 1119!!  Jessica had a high game of 214 over the six game set and stayed consistent all day to win.  Jessica is the only boy or girl to qualify for Fruitport.  Jessica moves on to the MHSAAA individual finals next Saturday at Century Bowl in Waterford.
