Fruitport defeated visiting Grandville Christian 2-0 in the OK Silver Conference Tournament Championship game on Monday night. The Trojans got on the board midway through the first half as Jorge Burgos Yack found Hudson Hazekamp to push the Trojans in front 1-0. The game remained 1-0 all the way until the end when Logan Werschem triggered a counterattack that Burgos Yack finished with 10 seconds left on the clock to seal the victory. 

Logan Werschem recorded three saves for the Trojans and earned his 12th shutout of the season. Fruitport finishes the regular season at 17-0-1. 

Coach Hazekamp highlighted the back line of Sam Krueger, Braxton Ward, Isaiah Packard, and Nathaniel Cribley for great efforts on the backline. Hazekamp also highlighted Issac Vandermolen and Carlos Cruz for great play in the midfield.
