Boys Varsity Baseball drops Double Header to Jenison

JENISON HIGH SCHOOL: 4
Fruitport took a hard loss 4-3 against Jenison in the bottom of the 7th inning. Jerod Arvey went 4 innings giving up 3 runs only 2 earned before he was forced to leave with a knee injury. He gave up 3 hits and struck out 3. Jayme Woodring came on relief and pitched 2 and 2/3rds innings giving up 1 unearned run. Nick Kleinhecksel had 3 hits and 1 Rbi. Kam Sweet and Aaron Sander both had an Rbi.
Game two seen Jenison jump out early and often and won 10-0 in the shortned night cap. Fruitport could only muster 2 hits.
