HOLLAND CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 9
Fruitport took the loss 9-2 against the Maroons of Holland Christian. Holland Christian jumped out to a 4-0 lead after 4 innings of work and then Fruitport was able to scratch out a couple runs in the 5th to make it 4-2 before Holland Christian was able to tack on insurance runs in the 6th and 7th. Jerod Arvey had 2 hits and Aaron Sander reached base twice. Chase Campbell had an RBI along with Nick Kleinhecksel.
