Fruitport drop game 2 of the series with West Catholic 6-2. The game was picked up in the 3rd inning from Tuesday. Brady Weck came on in relief of Gavin Reams and pitched 4 1/3 innings. striking out 3 and allowing 2 earned runs. Mayson Whitlow had 2 hits and Aiden Vela had 2 Rbi's.
Game 3 was a close contest until the bottom of the 5th. It was 2-1 and then a few mistakes led to a Big West Catholic inning. The final ended at 10-1. Austin Wilson went 4 2/3 innings giving up 3 earned runs. Leading hitters for Fruitport was Vela wit 2 hits and Cody Nash with 2 as well.
