Fruitport took game 1 9-1 over Coopersville. Cody Matuz got the win going 5 and 2/3rds inning. He struck out 12 while allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run. Ryan Bosch came on in relief going 1 and 1/3rd innings striking out 4. Leading hitters for the Trojans were Bosch with 2 hits and 2 Rbi's. Matuz also had 2 hits. Aiden Vela reached base 4 times and Brady French had 2 Ribi's.
Game 2 was postponed in the bottom of 2nd inning with Fruitport up 7-3.
