Fruitport fell to visiting Mona Shores by a score of 3-0 in the opening game of OK Black Conference play. The Sailors used three quick first half goals to separate from the Trojans. Fruitport generated several opportunities in the second half but could not find the back of the net.
The Sailors outshot Fruitport 11-9 in the game. Justin Laus had 7 saves for the Trojans in net. Fruitport falls to 3-2 on the season and 0-1 in OK Black play. The Trojans next travel to Union next Tuesday to face the OK Black defending champs.
