Fruitport defeated visiting Allendale by a score of 5-1 on Monday night in OK Blue action. The Trojans were paced by first half goals by Sean Gieske and Ryan Laus. The Falcons scored on a penalty kick to cut the score to 2-1 heading into the half. In the second half, the Trojans scored three goals as Gieske, Carter Golden and Brock Veltman scored to secure the game.. Henry Swartz, Cameron Weaver, Bode Anspach, Golden and Laus added assists for the Trojans. Justin Laus made 9 saves in the net for the Trojans who improve to 2-1 on the season and 1-1 in OK Blue play.
Fruitport travels to Unity Christian on Wednesday for an OK Blue matchup.
