Fruitport went on the road and defeated North Muskegon by a score of 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. After a scoreless first half, the Norsemen took the lead off a long range shot by Dylan Schultz. The Trojans answered the bell minutes later as Ryan Laus scored to tie the game at 1-1. With seven minutes reminding the Trojans found the net as Bode Anspach connected with Sean Gieske to put the Trojans in front. Ryan Laus added an insurance goal minutes later off a Brady Brown assist.
Justin Laus had two saves in net for the Trojans who outshot North Muskegon 13-3. The Trojans improve to 7-0-1. Fruitport travels to Allendale for an OK Blue tilt on Monday.
