Fruitport went on the road and defeated Allendale by a score of 4-1 on Monday night. The Trojans jumped out to an early lead as Ryan Laus slotted a well played ball and Sean Gieske found the back of the net. Later in the half, Laus found the net off a Zach Schaefer assist to push the lead to 2-0 heading into the half. In the second half, Elijah Aldridge scored as Jackson Rebone assisted. Bode Anspach capped off the scoring with an insurance goal late in the game.
Justin Laus had five saves for the Trojans who outshot Allendale 15-4.
Fruitport improves to 8-0-1 and will host Unity Christian on Wednesday in an OK Blue battle.
