Fruitport defeated visiting Unity Christian by a score of 1-0 in a crucial OK Blue conference tilt. After a scoreless first half, Ryan Laus found the back of the net off a great cross from Sean Gieske. The Trojans pressured the rest of the way but were unable to get an insurance goal.  

Justin Laus had 11 saves in net for the Trojans who improve to 9-0-1 on the season. 

Coach Hazekamp complimented his teams performance noting, "I am really proud of the way our boys executed tonight.  We were able to weather the storm early and I thought we played really weill in the second half and generated some quality opportunities. I could point so many great performances tonight but this was a really great team win.  From the bench to our guys on the field everyone was locked in."

Hazekamp credited Jackson Smith Upson, Ryan Laus, Sean Gieske and the backline of Brady Brown, Noah Fehler, Jaxon Deneen, and Tyler Kelly with great showings.  

Fruitport travels to Ludington on Saturday for a non conference tilt.
